Position: IT Network Analyst

Our client, a leading healthcare organization in Canada’s mental health industry, is seeking a highly skilled IT Network Analyst to join their team. As one of the country’s top employers, they offer comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and consultation services for individuals with complex mental illnesses, and actively engage in research, education, and advocacy initiatives to advance the mental health care system.

The HM is looking for someone who has solid experience with Firewall policies, Configuration of Router, Switches, LAN and WAN servers and also provide top notch troubleshooting experience.

Summary:

• Play an active role in ensuring the security of systems, servers, and networks
• Responsible for technical administration, support, maintenance, and deployment of hospital LAN and WAN infrastructureIncludes firewalls, switches (layer 2 and layer 3), and organizational SANs
• Administer, upgrade, and patch lead servers' operations
• Possess excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Provide recommendations on appropriate actions to resolve problems

Requirements:

• Knowledge of computer security procedures and protocols;
• Solid understanding of Server Operating Systems (Windows 2008/2012/2019);
• Strong knowledge of servers’ hardware (Dell preferred);
• Knowledge at advance level Microsoft Office Suite of products.
• Hands on and solid understanding of switches, routers and firewalls;
• Clear understanding of customer service principles;
• Willingness to learn and follow organizational principles and practices;
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory;
• Solid understanding of LAN & WAN protocols;

Qualifications

• VMWare certification would be an asset.
• CCNA is required. CCIE would be an asset;
• Microsoft Certifications like MCP, MCSE are required;
• Security +, CISSP or CISA would be an asset;
• University Degree, College Certificate or Diploma in Computer Science or related areas from an accredited institution;
