You will execute transportation operations in term of service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policies compliance. You will work collaboratively with internal and external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution. You will be responsible for activities such as transport planning (load planning, route planning), track and trace, proof of delivery management, claims management, invoice management, compliance execution (HSE, quality, risk management), tenders support, and third-party performance management.


How You Will Contribute


You will:


  • Monitor, verify, update, analyze and report on our company’s transportation KPIs and introduce corrective actions to continuously improve our transportation operations
  • Participate in project-related and ad hoc tasks in particular in connection with (CI) projects and tenders and capacity management
  • Coordinate logistics service providers (LSPs) to ensure punctual, timely and in-full deliveries, in accordance to our standard operating procedures
  • Lead transportation related operational activities such as transport planning (load and route planning), track and trace, proof of delivery management, claims, freight billing and pay, pallet management, tender support, third-party performance management, etc.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders on shortages, delays, quality issues, and other losses while permanently analyzing the root causes of recurring problems
  • Participate and provide input into regular service provider performance reviews

  • Sound analytical and presentation skills to detail and substantiate process deviations and identified opportunities

More About This Role


What you need to know about this position:


  • TRACKING, ANALYZING & REPORTING OF ON TIME DELIVERY PERFORMANCE: This is critical to tracking how we are servicing our customers and how our carriers are performing to deliver the products on time to our customers.
  • TRANSPORTATION BUDGET MONITORING, TRACKING AND ANALYSIS: Monitoring miscellaneous cost centers and CPU invoices including PO creation in Coupa. Also track transportation budget variance with financial numbers provided by the NA CS&L Finance team.
  • KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR ANALYSES, MONITORING AND TRACKING: Monitoring monthly inputs to Customer Service and Cost Metrics. These become the basis for analyses during implementation of projects.
  • TRANSPORTATION PRODUCTIVITY ANALYSES, MONITORING AND TRACKING: Tracking and reporting transportation related productivity savings on a monthly basis. VOLT Input.


OTHER RESPONSABILITIES:


  • Weekly and monthly KPI reporting of Canadian product shipments and some metrics to MDLZ NA
  • CPU reconciliation and payment of CPU freight invoices
  • EDI 214 monitoring and analysis
  • Carrier score carding
  • Transportation related cost savings analysis (e.g. Theater Box and 1.9 lb SUP)
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis (e.g. sustainability report and CPU on time delivery)
