3+ years supervisory experience and personnel management in a bargaining unit environment

Experience with Transportation/Warehouse Management Systems and shipment tracking programs related to the transportation field

Develop proposals and recommendations for the department as well as senior management

3+ years experience in a logistics, customs, excise and freight payment environment or equivalent experience

Proven ability to motivate and lead a team with effective written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of freight payment and claims practices, with cursory knowledge of tariffs, rules and regulations

Developing CIRT and machine investigation lifecycles to further IR capabilities.

Have previously developed and managed EDR Technology.

Experience developing, documenting, and implementing IR methods.

Perform troubleshooting. Including packet captures, debugs, and traffic analysis.

Document IR methods and guidelines for the organizations.

Work with 3rd parties to assist with Incidents, business email compromise, security breaches, and to improve overall security.

Strong project management skills and data analysis capabilities

Provide freight cost estimates using contracted rates as requested by Category or Inventory management team

Ability to function as a subject matter expert with traffic management system (TMS) and freight payment systems applications

Monitor, manage, & resolve freight payment issues and rating errors either internally or with the transport service provider

Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in logistics or transportation environment from a retail/wholesale or supply chain organization

Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 (MS Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Share Point)

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and effective time management skills.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations that summarize the analysis and provide recommendations to management and stakeholders, as required;

Assist with the transition of new company acquisitions to the property management team;

Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Knowledge of ARGUS Valuation software is an asset;

Assist with transaction execution functions including the preparation of property documents, due diligence, and finance support;

Project management and time management skills are key

3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience

3+ years of business or financial analysis experience

Knowledge of applicable transportation-related laws, school bus safety principles, and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) transportation-related regulations.

Warehouse Management: 1 year (preferred)

Post-secondary education (minimum two (2)-year college diploma program) in Transportation Planning, GIS, Geography, or another related discipline.

Experience with researching transportation planning issues, evaluating alternatives, making recommendations, and preparing and presenting staff reports.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Knowledge of Durham Region’s municipalities and road structures, and the location of the Durham District Schools (DCDSB and DDSB).

Experience in the securities industry, with SEDI and SEDAR systems, or with filing requirements relating to Canadian securities law is preferred.

Reviewing and assessing business transactions and combinations, including reverse takeovers, to determine future filing requirements.

Conducting screening reviews on offering memorandums, marketing materials, and other information to assess basic compliance and determining which files be escalated.

Strong telephone/customer service and written communication skills.

Excellent computer skills in MS Office including intermediate to advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.).

Creating and maintaining Alberta’s reporting issuers records and filing due dates in the ASC’s internal database.

Prepare and lead presentations on transportation data to internal and external stakeholder groups, management, and council.

Demonstrated skills working with multi-disciplinary teams.

Develop and update as required a data collection strategy for the City related to all transportation users

Analyze the collection of data related to all transportation users (vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians) and vet incoming third-party data for accuracy

Evaluate interventions using data, performing before and after studies as appropriate (e.g. speed limit reduction effectiveness)

Provide data analysis summaries for annual collision reports
