To verify and record invoices (including foreign payments) received in the Finance department.

Knowledge about working with computerized accounting systems.

Strong computer skills in MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.

To ensure that all invoices, expense claims, cheques, etc. are appropriately coded and approved in accordance with OICR’s financial regulations.

To provide advice to staff on financial policies and procedures in relation to invoice processing and reimbursement of expenses.

To assist with general ledger reconciliations as assigned (e.g., bank accounts, received not vouchered accounts, etc.)

Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting/related field and/or 1-2 years of relevant working experience in insurance/reinsurance journal accounting

Experience in billings and collections preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field supplemented by related Budgeting and project management courses.

Demonstrated commitment to change and process management.

Maintain and manage database data integrity – drafts user guide and processes as the lead for the capital planning systems; and

Minimum of five (5) years’ recent related experience.

Experience with complex financial database systems, project planning and control are essential.

Microsoft office and excel experience – expert level

Must have a Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or Accounting/Finance.

Must have 2 to 3 years of experience in HR including processing payroll, accounts payable, expense reimbursements, and account reconciliations.

Experience working for a Non-Profit organization is an Asset.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Experience using Bluebeam for document management.

Knowledge of the JIRA platform for task and project management.

Post secondary education in related fields of administration, finance, or accounting will be considered an asset.

Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably as a finance coordinator or similar position.

Manage the processing and tracking of employee expenses, verifying receipts and ensuring compliance with company policies.

The duties and responsibilities of the Finance Coordinator is as follows:

Performs other related ad-hoc duties as required by Finance Director.

2+ years related accounts payable experience.

Experience in retail or wholesale operation.

Relationship Skills - Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written; ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships.

Computer Skills - Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word – Current Accounting System is Visual Next.

University degree or College diploma in Finance or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Excellent planning, time-management, multi-tasking and organizational skills

Supports the cash management process

Responsible for producing and analyzes billing reports for management

Runs ad hoc reports and provides analysis of the expenditures to senior management, client services, auditors etc.

Compiles, analyzes and supports the Manager and Director of Finance to ensure accurate submission of financial and statistical reports

Effective time management skills, with the ability to work independently and co-operatively in a busy multidisciplinary environment

A university degree preferred (or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)

Assists Finance during the Audit regarding SPO billings

Post-secondary education in Administration, Business, Commerce and/or Accounting

Minimum three (3) years related work experience in the Health Services sector

Detailed knowledge of the Client Health Records Information System (CHRIS) is necessary

Advanced Excel knowledge and experienced with Advanced Analytical Tools (Tableau, Power BI)

Consult with the Trade Finance Associates and Customer Finance to prevent future pricing claims

Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships and influence others

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Undergraduate diploma or degree in Business or Accounting or equivalent experience

3-5 years of relevant finance experience. Government Grant experience is preferred.

REPORTING RELATIONS: Finance Manager and Project Manager, Grant Project

COLLABORATIVE RELATIONS: Other departments, Management, Stakeholders

Working with the finance team to resolve account issues

University/college education in accounting or equivalent.

Experience using Microsoft Great Plains is an asset.

Educational research & hands-on knowledge of consumer goods- food chemistry- analytical testing- formulations and processing used in food manufacturing

Good communication- critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Manage multiple assignments/tasks concurrently with the ability to question the priority of work
