Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience

Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and Construction Regulations

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, specifically with projects related to schools.

Demonstrated success in contract administration and management of projects ranging from $15 million to $20 million.

Previous Project Management experience in the field of HVAC / Mechanical / Electrical Environments is preferred.

Follows up with appropriate management to assure understanding and satisfaction of job scope.

Manage subcontractor workflow regarding installation practices in order to comply with company guidelines and contractor management program.

Analyzes plans, construction contract specifications and codes to determine project requirements.

Manages the development of project plans in advance of project activity assuring effective execution by the Project Team.

Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, technical, and financials abilities

At least 2-3 Years of project management experience in IT application development / product development projects.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification an asset

Excellent skills in project management and planning, using tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA etc.

Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

Meet with Stakeholders and Management to determine potential optimizations and needs for potential future projects.

Provide project management direction and guidance to project teams, adhering to proven project management methodologies including Agile Scrum methodologies and processes

6-10 years of experience leading moderate to high complexity projects in a project management or senior technical role.

Present project plans to management teams for approval and lead project-related meetings throughout the project lifecycle.

Collect status updates from team members and suppliers, presenting aggregated information to management in the form of metrics, risks, and actions.

Identify and mitigate risk areas, lead project cost estimation and management, and proactively manage change control processes.

Bachelor's degree (preferred, not required) in Computer Science or Engineering, or a 2-year diploma with equivalent work experience; PM certifications preferred.

Attention to detail and a passion for project management and delivery discipline.

Must have strong communication, time management, scheduling, and negotiations skills

5+ years' experience in the construction industry working as a Project Manager, Superintendent or Project Coordinator

Coach, mentor and manage Project Coordinators

MS Office Suite knowledge an asset

Ensure projects are running efficiently on time and on budget

Plan and schedule work with operations to meet client needs

Ideally 2-3 years of experience in project management preferably in the utility, sub-metering, or construction industry

College Certificate or Diploma in a mechanical or electrical field may be accepted with strong experience displayed

MBA or Lean Six Sigma training and certification; an asset

Regulatory Compliance and Safety - Promotes safety and regulatory compliance in all project-related aspects

Technical Assistance & Reporting – Provision of technical support and necessary tracking reports

Bachelor's degree with a minimum 10 years of relevant work experience focusing on project management

Project Management Institute (PMI) certification such as the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

Demonstrated ability to execute within ambiguity using prior experience, analytical skills, and available research

Ability to mentor junior project managers in the use of proven project management tools and practices

· Experience in technical cross-functional or cross-country projects.

· Experience of ECC 6.0 implementation is mandatory (min 2 projects including at least 1 greenfield)

The successful Proponent will provide all required project management services associated with the

 Performing change management practices to achieve project deliverables;

 Providing IT Consultation and Account Management; and Other duties as assigned.

 Perform user training to new O365 and Electronics Document Management System users as required.
