About Our Client
Are you an experienced and driven Project Manager with a solid background in contract administration for construction projects within the education sector? Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously? If so, we have the perfect role for you!

As a Mid-Level Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution and delivery of construction projects related to schools. You will be expected to manage two projects concurrently, each with a budget ranging from $15 million to $20 million. Your primary duties will include:
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to foster collaboration and maintain project momentum.
  • Schedule Coordination: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, identifying critical milestones and potential risks, while ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Contract Administration: Ensure adherence to contract terms and conditions, manage change orders, and oversee project documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Enforce strict quality control measures to meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
  • Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-effective measures to achieve project goals within the allocated budget.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Communication: Facilitate clear and transparent communication between stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress, challenges, and solutions.

The Successful Applicant
Requirements:
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Demonstrated success in contract administration and management of projects ranging from $15 million to $20 million.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, specifically with projects related to schools.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with local educational authorities or government entities.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
