Hey there 👋 I'm Manuela, the Head of Marketing at Fellow.
One of the exceptional aspects of our company is the undeniable appeal and impact of our brand and design—it truly connects with our customers. We’re looking to strengthen this connection by bringing on board a skilled Web & Marketing Designer. Your role will be to ensure our visual marketing elements are top notch, so we continue to create compelling, innovative assets and programs that resonate with our audiences.
What is Fellow?
Fellow is a software company that helps teams level-up their meeting habits to drive productivity, engagement, and accountability—before, during, and after every meeting.
With Fellow, great meetings are just the start. Our product is the #1 meeting management software on G2, and is trusted by the world’s best teams.
Established in 2017, our team works remotely from cities across Canada, guided by our mission: Make Work Better for Everyone—and that includes our own employees!
Our values make sure we’re always evolving and growing, like our product. All employees are given regular feedback on their impact on the company’s growth, time to socialize and connect with their team members, and flexibility in their work to empower them to be their best.
We’re an ambitious team building the next big thing and we'd love to have you on this journey with us.
The opportunity
The Web & Marketing Designer will understand our audiences, our brand, and our objectives and will work hand-in-hand with our marketing team to develop creative concepts and designs with high impact. The work you create will be a key component of Fellow’s identity, directly influencing how our audiences perceive and engage with us. You’ll also work closely with our product design team to ensure a consistent aesthetic.
If you live and breathe design, take pride in artistic excellence, and want to be part of an innovative team, we’d love to hear from you. Please include a portfolio of your work.
You'll thrive in this role if...
- You think strategically about how your work contributes to achieving marketing objectives, you have a data-driven mindset, and a relentless drive for optimizing design performance and impact (ie. you have a deep understanding of the mechanics and conventions of performance ad and landing page design).
- You have an understanding of user behaviour, and an interest in studying and optimizing our audience experiences.
- You’re a lifelong learner and you’re obsessed with keeping up on the latest trends and innovations in design (tell us how you’re using AI) but you already have a strong design foundation and experience working across various mediums.
- You’re excited about structuring the design function for a marketing team.
- You’re very familiar with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Google Workspace.
- You’re reliable, self-motivated, and have meticulous attention to detail.
- You have professional experience in UI / UX and graphic design, and an online portfolio of exceptional design projects (eg. websites, landing pages, performance ads, illustrations, bonus: video and/or motion graphics).
- You collaborate well and you’re comfortable working on multiple projects, with tight deadlines and rapid iterations to get programs out in the wild quickly. You cherish feedback.
Your typical days will involve...
- Strategizing with the demand gen, performance marketing, and customer marketing teams to develop a wide variety of campaigns and assets that attract and convert our audiences into Fellow users and help our customers succeed.
- Refining the design of our website to optimize for user experience, conversions, and our visual identity.
- Being a champion for the Fellow brand and visual identity, ensuring our design principles and brand guidelines are followed.
- Developing an asset and template library that can be used by our team (including you!) to create content and social media assets. Building out styling rules to help us maintain quality and consistency across our various platforms.
- Surfacing actionable insights and recommending design iterations for future growth experiments.
- Evolving and shaping Fellow’s visual identity as required, playing a significant role in how we present ourselves to the world and how we connect with our audience.
Benefits
- Employee stock options
- Regular compensation evaluations and adjustments
- Personal and dependant health and dental benefits plan
- $1,000 annual personal learning credit
The Fine Print
- Our environment is suited for people who thrive in experimenting and figuring out the best way to do their work, and sharing those successes with others.
- Fellow has broad ambitions. We’re very agile and a place where changes happen fast and all the time. You have to enjoy the challenge of constantly learning and growing in your role, and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen.
- We’re 100% remote and candidates should be located in Canada and be legally entitled to work for any employer.
- You’ll have the autonomy to schedule your work to fit your schedule, but generally, everyone at Fellow has meeting availability between 10:30 am and 4:00 pm Eastern Time.
Don't have the exact experience listed?
Please apply! Fellow is committed to a fair and equitable hiring process for all candidates. We're interested in hearing about your lived experiences and how your alternate path would make you excel at Fellow. We also encourage applications from Indigenous peoples, racialized people, people with disabilities, people from gender and sexually diverse communities, and/or people with intersectional identities.
