Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer to join our team on a 3-month contract basis.

As a Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and modifying websites and web applications according to client specifications. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing user experience, ensuring website functionality, and optimizing performance. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and collaborate with a dynamic team.


Software Requirement: Wordpress/ WIX/ Elementor or Other Web Development Applications

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Optimize website performance, including page load times, responsiveness, and scalability.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of websites and web applications to ensure optimal performance across different browsers and devices.
  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to ensure seamless integration of various website components.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and understand project objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and suggest innovative solutions to enhance web development processes.
  • Develop and implement website layouts, user interfaces, and web features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.


Qualifications & Education

  • Proficient in Photoshop and other graphics tools (Illustrator, Image Ready, etc.)
  • Proven work experience as a Web Developer, ideally with experience in designing and developing responsive websites and web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of web development best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, and SEO.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in web design
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


Hybrid Model

Office Location: Gloucester, Ottawa - ON K1J 9H9

Working Hours: 8 AM - 6 PM (Flexible Hours)

Work Week - 32 to 35 Hours
