Visual & Graphic Designer - Branding, Social, Comms & More

LOGO.com is looking for talented and passionate graphic and visual designers to join our team as we put logo and brand creation tools in the hands of millions of users around the world. Our goal is to make starting and growing a dream business as easy and fun as possible for entrepreneurs the world over.

What you’ll do:

• Update and evolve the new branding guidelines for LOGO.com
• Work closely with the Product and the Engineering teams to prototype and build new features
• Design marketing materials for emails and social channels
• Tweak our current logo templates and create new logo templates
• Create beautiful color palettes for customer logos
• Create visually stunning templates that inspire and engage our customers
• Create realistic mockups using PSD
• Create UI mockups following our current Design System
• You will be responsible for setting goals and prioritizing and executing design projects.

Requirements

• Have a strong portfolio showcasing your best work - Applicants without a portfolio will not be considered
• A relevant degree or diploma (Graphic Design or similar) or commensurate experience and portfolio
• Proven experience in leading projects from research to execution
• Strong understanding and proven experience in graphic design fundamentals and principles.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English
• Strong visual skills - great attention to detail
• Be a strong multitasker: you need to be able to handle and prioritize a variety of tasks at the same time
• Open to feedback; someone who is willing to learn and grow
• Love being up to date with graphic design trends
• Have organizational skills: Strategic thinking and planning, prioritization and documentation.
• Be autonomous at your work. We value proactiveness and time-management

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Asana, Notion, or similar tools for work management
• Live in Metro Vancouver - We have a coworking session every once in a while, and it would be great if you could join too!
• Be a Canadian Citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident
• Experience in Adobe XD, Figma, etc.
