Intermediate Graphic Designer Jobs

Our new Graphic Designer will come to us with a post-secondary education (orsimilar) in Graphic Design, 3 to 5 years of experience in design roles, and a strong portfolio of previous digital and print work.

• A strong understanding of brand consistency, layout, typography, and design principles
• A belief that constructive feedback and direction makes us and our work stronger
• A solid understanding of print and digital production processes (proper file formats, proofing and pre-flighting, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to lead design projects, ensuring timely delivery without compromising on quality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google applications (PowerPoint, Word, Google Slides/Docs)
• Exceptional organization and time management skills, with a fine eye for detail (i.e., spacing, spelling, grammar, alignment, kerning, etc.)
• Great communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to learn new technology, software, and interfaces quickly
• An enthusiasm to learn new things (trends, tools, and techniques)
• Competence with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and InDesign)
• Multitasking is your middle name 
• Experience designing websites, from wireframes to dev-ready mockups

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with project management software such as Jira or Trello
• Experience using Figma or After Effects
• Illustration skills
• Basic familiarity with WordPress
