About the Role

Perform duties in Accounts Payable and assists finance when necessary. Candidate will be responsible for the full cycle Accounts Payable including 3-way match, posting invoices to Sage 100c, performing check runs once a week and preparing wire transfers as necessary. Reconciling GL to the sub-ledger, handling supplier address change forms, distributing mail. Supports policies & procedure to promote continuous improvements to the quality of the A/P balances and financial statements.

Major Responsibilities

• Performs IC and 3rd party wire transfers
• Performs 3-way match and check the coding provided by Purchasing
• Maintain Excel files for the purchases made to Inventory accounts (used for Standard Cost update and PPV calculations)
• Copy and file paid vendor invoices
• Respond to vendor inquiries – provide payment information
• Use automated systems to input data, generate reports, and respond to inquiries
• Follow up with vendors, QA inspectors and purchasing department to resolve discrepancies and get transactions posted on time for the period end
• Performs check run process.
• Open and distribute mail

Qualifications

• Temporary role - 6 months
• General office skills are required. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• 1-2 years related experience
