Job Description
Description
Our client in the service industry is seeking a Team Lead in Accounting for a 5 month contract. The Team Lead will be responsible for supervising a team of 3 senior accountants who will be booking monthly accruals for various functional groups within the company. Accruals will be related to Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, IT and Project Management. The Team Lead will need to coordinate with these various groups to collect information and will have to allocate work to team members. The role will be busy during month-end and the remainder of the month will be focused on improving processes.
Requirements
The successful Team Lead will have:
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of month-end accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • An accounting designation
