Systems Analyst / Report Developer

Our Nationally recognized client seeks the services of an experienced Systems Analyst and Report Developer with proven experience developing Dashboards in Power BI and knowledge and experience with Denodo.
*** This is a fully remote 12 month contract position ***
*** Candidates must be eligible for Government of Canada Security Clearance ***

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of the data lifecycle management including consulting with business users to articulate requirements, translating the requirements into viable solutions, testing and deployment of solutions
• Provides analysis of query/report output for clients and/or conducts statistical analyses, interprets results, and writes reports to explain findings
• Identifies data integrity issues and determine feasible solutions and maintains documentation, templates, procedures, processes, building codes, and standards relating to data
• Represents the client and their needs when dealing with data platform issues and helps to evaluate, select, test, and optimize both hardware and software products
• Determines the best source of information to suit the users’ needs and develops queries and reports

Qualifications
Top Skills Required:

• Knowledge of Data Transformation tools
• Experience with developing Dashboards in Power BI
• Experience writing SQL queries (Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle)

Other Skills Required:

• Advanced data analysis skills

Assets:

• Experience with SAS Enterprise Guide
• Experience with Data Transformation tools, such as Databricks or DataStage
• Experience with Data virtualization software, such as Denodo
• Experience using R and/or Python
