Job Title: Systems Analyst & Report Developer
Job Type: Contract; Full-Time
Location: Canada (Remote)
About The Company
Our client is a Crown corporation dedicated to helping and equipping Canadian companies with trade knowledge, financial solutions, equity, insurance, connections and to grow their business with confidence in global markets.
Position Summary
Our client is moving their SAS EG projects to Denodo and the company’s (EDP) Enterprise Data Platform to align with their data and analytics strategy. They are also consolidating and automating our existing reports. This will result in their producing fewer reports on a monthly basis. They require the resource to be able to understand existing SAS EG projects and to replace them with Denodo views or leverage standardized data sets from their EDP.
Responsibilities
  • Provides analysis of query/report output for clients and/or conducts statistical analyses, interprets results, and writes reports to explain findings
  • Determines the best source of information to suit the users’ needs and develops queries and reports
  • Identifies data integrity issues and determine feasible solutions and maintains documentation, templates, procedures, processes, building codes, and standards relating to data
  • Represents the client and their needs when dealing with data platform issues and helps to evaluate, select, test, and optimize both hardware and software products
  • Performs all aspects of the data lifecycle management including consulting with business users to articulate requirements, translating the requirements into viable solutions, testing and deployment of solutions

  • Experience with developing Dashboards in Power BI
