Position Summary

The Systems Analyst will assist with developing and maintaining the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning system, QAD, and additional business applications, such as Cognos and TM1. Additionally, the Systems Analyst will work closely with all business functions to provide day-to-day ERP functionality support with an aim to improve business efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Other projects as assigned.
• Meets with business units to gather and document application requirements in a clear and concise manner including outlines for application functionality design and programming specifications.
• Propose solutions to streamline business processes and improve leverage of existing and emerging systems and technologies.
• Responsible for daily scheduled processes including Day End & Month End processes.
• Development of new software applications and uses using the Open Edge platform.
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of the corporate ERP system and integrated systems using established standards.
• Provide 1st tier support to end users in all business functions, in the use of ERP applications.

Professional Requirements And Qualifications

• Computer Science or Management Information Systems degree or equivalent.
• Demonstrated strong business acumen.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Good knowledge of Open Edge platform.
• Strong leadership skills in order to take charge of or facilitate requirement gathering sessions.
• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Customer-orientated team player with strong work ethic.
• Expert knowledge of QAD and ERP applications.
