About The Opportunity
The Stores Clerk is responsible for the receipt and issuing of all supplies used in the department and items supplied by Food and Nutrition Services to other departments within Nova Scotia Health, Central Zone; the offloading of pallets of supplies from delivery vehicles; the proper storage and rotation of stock; checking orders for discrepancies; the input of inventory data into the computer; and the timely delivery of orders to the end users and loading dock.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

• One-year related experience required
• Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
• Grade 12/GED required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Please Note: As this is a warehousing position, there are frequent physical demands including extensive standing and walking, bending, lifting, pulling and pushing, and transferring/transporting food supplies including pallets of product and flatbeds of supplies. Since a large percentage of the work takes place in the freezers, fridges, and on the loading dock the work area is subject to variations in temperature.
