Position Title: Specialist, Recruitment

Position Overview


The Specialist, Recruitment is responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process. This position will work with hiring managers to ensure hiring needs are met which includes sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment negotiations, all while ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience. This is a full-time, hourly position that will run from August through December.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Answer general employment questions from applicants.
  • Assist in other areas of Employee Experience as needed.
  • Manage the onboarding and new hire processes.
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications and perform screening interviews, full-length interviews, reference checks, and maintain communication with candidates throughout the process.
  • Develop relationships with candidates, ensuring each candidate has a positive recruiting experience with CMH.
  • Work collaboratively with the Employee Experience team to lead the recruiting function at CMH.
  • Ensure positive, professional, enthusiastic representation of CMH and the Employee Experience department.
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations to ensure a fair and equitable process for all candidates.
  • Manage the overall posting/advertising, interviewing, selection, and hiring process.
  • Extend offers and negotiate employment terms with the support of the Sr Manager, Employee Experience.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Experience in the ski industry preferred.
  • 2+ years of recruitment experience in a professional office setting.
  • Experience with Workday preferred.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field.

  • Confidence to interact with all levels of the company in a hub-and-spoke model in which many individuals are remote.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively manage people and resources.
  • Able to prioritize tasks in a complex and fast-paced environment with seasonal workload fluctuations and changing priorities.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to communicate in an effective and timely manner over the phone, in-person, and in written communication.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams as well as other relevant software platforms.
  • Proven ability to maintain professional working relationships with peers.
  • Sees projects through to completion including follow-up on any identified issues.
  • Demonstrates integrity, discretion, and problem solving.
  • Demonstrates excellent attention-to-detail and accurate data-entry skills and abilities.
  • Positive and collaborative working style with an ability to build meaningful relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation


A competitive hourly rate will be provided, along with 4% vacation pay. Further details will be discussed in a personal interview.
