Job description

Express Healthcare Professionals is seeking a Recruitment Specialist dedicated to the recruitment, credentialing and placement of health care professionals across the country! This position specializes in the recruitment, credentialing, placement and retention of contract healthcare workers.


Responsibilities

  • New assignments for the week and in future have been correctly assigned and linked in Q4 to WSS
  • Manage basic progressive discipline with clinicians in consultation with HR team
  • Ensure all new contractor schedules are updated and posted by end of day
  • Accurately process payroll with the payroll team each week and respond to any payroll questions
  • Add new hires into Bluesky / Q4 and manage any changes to TD1 and Direct Deposit forms
  • Support staffing and proactively reach out to contract staff currently on assignment and those not scheduled in the future week to generate new contract placements
  • Ensure all clinician documentation is up to date in for the week
  • Clinician QC Checks for new assignments have been contacted and documented
  • Generate on assignment report for contractors to coordinate contact for future extension or re-deployment
  • Save and correctly label all candidate credentials that come in via email to Shared Drive and Bluesky
  • Ensure the Travel clinician tab is updated real-time on google sheets (i.e. contract status, travel status, assignment status, WSS/Q4 link etc.)
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Save all incoming files to candidate files on the Shared Drive
  • Save and correctly label all YouSignHere documents in the V Drive and in Bluesky
  • Ensure all Assignment details have been emailed prior to assignment
  • Coordinate the weekly email/text of current contract and per diem needs to all active clinicians and applicants
  • Ending assignments are documented in Q4
  • Assist with day-to-day staffing and credentialing functions, including answering the phones, running reports and coordinating with active staff
  • Processing quality control, termination or replacement checks as needed


Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail with a sense of customer service with clients
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel, Word and Outlook Skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, strong organization and can work independently.
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities daily using various software platforms
  • Post-Secondary education is an asset
  • Criminal records check
  • Minimum of 1 years of previous healthcare staffing, scheduling and/or recruitment is a definite asset
  • Minimum of 2 years in a fast paced administrative role involving contracts
  • Familiar with human resources principles


Compensation: $40,000 - $45,000 salary to start based on skills, knowledge and experience, comprehensive benefits plan and bonus incentives!
