Our IT Corporate Solutions Group (CSG) is looking for an experienced individual who can fill a permanent, fulltime Solutions Architect (Network & Cloud Infrastructure) role on our IT for Enterprise team. You will join a team of engineers who are passionate about improving their systems and providing a great service to our internal stakeholders. In this hands-on role as Solutions Architect you will play multiple roles, with your in-depth knowledge and experience you will be a trusted partner to the team’s Sr. Manager. Partnering with the Product Owner you will bring thought leadership, evaluating and recommending improvements to our solutions. You will utilize your communication, vendor, incident & project management skills to enhance our operational excellence and delivery projects. We use Agile and lean principles to work fast, deliver high quality results, and promote innovation and efficiency.

What you will do:


  • Identify repetitive tasks and build tools / processes for automation
  • Demonstrate innovations, and support knowledge-sharing across other IT Agile teams
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather the business and technical requirements needed to design and implement cost-effective solutions.
  • Participate in the design and test DR/BCP solutions in collaboration with our SRG Group
  • Cover for the IT4E Manager\Product Owner as a trusted partner
  • Develop standards, patterns, and practices to improve the network services
  • Provide escalation support and lead the resolution of complex production issues spanning multiple systems and technologies
  • Facilitate effective team discussion, decision-making and communication
  • Remain current on new features and developments in the networking space
  • Help support and sustain technology and process continuous improvements
  • Support the maturity of HOOPP’s network roadmaps, standards and practices, in collaboration with the Product Owner, Portfolio Lead and Portfolio architect
  • Collaborate with and Manage vendors
  • Provide thought leadership across our Network and Cloud Infrastructure space
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
  • Provide guidance and knowledge to team members, and promote efficiency, productivity
  • Support and build network features and enhancements
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to develop solutions and implementation strategies
  • Architect and design network and security improvements in public and private cloud
  • Lead and contribute to design sessions, and support the community of network subject matter experts
  • Ask powerful questions, create awareness, and guide individuals and groups in exploring options
  • Guide the team on agile matters in collaboration with our Agile coaches, lead Scrum practices, such as daily standups, backlog refinement, planning and sprint retrospectives.
  • Manage technical planning, operations and delivery spanning multiple systems and technologies,
  • Develop and maintain service SLAs and metrics for all networking systems and dependent components
  • Regularly write wiki articles and participate in issue and team retrospectives
  • Participate in the off-hours On-Call rotation. Our off-hours support volume is light, and we put in the effort to keep it that way


Who you are:
  • A thought-leader in the infrastructure space who can clearly express ideas, concepts, and architecture to all levels in the team and to stakeholders with practical hands-on expertise.

  • Minimum of 10+ years of operations and project experience in progressively more senior roles across:
  • Understands the benefits of automation, has experience with automating repetitive work
  • 3+ years as an architect, consultant, senior manager or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban, MVP, etc.
  • Network
