Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Operations, part of Technology Service Group (TSG), the Cloud Infrastructure Analyst will provide operational support, third-party supplier management, availability of Cloud services and continual improvement of the full-Service Life Cycle of Public Cloud technologies, balancing technical and operational responsibilities to TSG clients (Brookfield Companies) globally.

The Cloud Infrastructure analyst will work collaboratively with third-party suppliers accountable for delivery of cloud services, ongoing focus on maintaining and enhancing defined operational metrics, and compliance to established business, operational, security, and compliance processes.

The Cloud Infrastructure analyst will engage and work closely with key members within TSG including Solutions, Security, End-user services, Business Applications, Finance and Global/Regional TSG service representatives with focus on service availability of the cloud platform.

Responsibilities

Operational Management

• Support project managers and Solutions teams calling out run-state risks related to implementation of cloud services.
• Ensure conformity to established Cloud Services policies and standards, prioritizing delivery of exceptional end users’ experiences.
• Actively participate in scheduled supplier governance meetings identifying shortcomings of services provided, areas for improvement, costs management
• Collaboration with technology partners/suppliers providing operational support of the Cloud platforms.

Service Provider Management

• Support the Solutions team with service provider proposals, solution innovation and development, and service requests and provide responses.
• Identify, document, and present operational requirements and needs to internal and external services providers.
• Review and approve Provider service delivery quality and achievement reports and attestations.
• Oversee third-party provider service delivery, governance, and service level assurance (SLA) for assigned TSG services and products.

Work Management

• Is self-organizing and appropriately prioritizes work on deliverables.
• Ability to effectively work on multiple competing priority initiatives.
• Takes ownership of any issues or problems affecting the delivery of cloud services to Brookfield clients - accountable for follow through and full resolution with service management providers.
• Demonstrates accountability for progress of work in-scope and its alignment to Technology Services strategy.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong knowledge of cloud-based platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and services including RBAC roles and permissions.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, security best practices and system monitoring tools
• Looking to constantly improve implemented solutions, understand the efficacy of collaboration and reaching out across functional borders.
• High degree of comfort with automation tools and serverless architecture
• Demonstrated understanding of ITIL methodologies, ITIL® v3 Certification desirable
• Good understanding of Cloud Services with the ability to quickly grasp issues and translate to business impact.
• Strong customer service ethic, results driven, and ability to demonstrate ownership of services.
• Passionate about interoperability between expected business functionality and cloud services with a mindset and culture for a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or similar.
• Strong communication skills that build peer and client confidence and trusted partnership.
• Knowledge and effective understanding of key technologies and industry/third-party services, methods, and best practices in multi-cloud environments.
• Experience collaborating with a global team across multiple time zones.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems
• Experience with Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation
• Experience with Cloud operational methods – including SysOps, FinOps & SecOps
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a multi-vendor IT Service Management environment
