Opportunity:
The Cloud & Infrastructure Specialist is responsible to provide technology planning, implementation, and
support of Fengate’s IT infrastructure and services. Working closely with employees at our three corporate offices and remote users, the successful candidate will need to be a self-starter, someone who is passionate about technology is eager to expand their skillset, and understands the importance of providing exceptional customer service. This position report to the Manager of IT Services. The candidate will be provided with the opportunity to participate in new IT initiatives, work closely with employees throughout all functional areas and be an integral contributor to the success of the
organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaboration and Projects
• Collaborate with Fengate employees to understand technical requirements and recommend
solutions using cloud-based services (IaaS, SaaS).
• Work closely with all IT Team members to mentor and assist with issues and projects.
• Lead and be responsible for the projects that you will create and manage to ensure they are
completed on time, delivering the full project scope as committed, with proper communication
to appropriate stakeholders
Cloud Services
• Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure such as virtual machines, storage
accounts, managed SQL databases, NSG, RG, etc.
• Experience managing Hybrid Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Azure conditional access
and Enterprise Applications.
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 services and users.
o Previous experience creating and managing SharePoint sites and document repositories.
o Previous experience with Power Automate
o Portal for cloud management
o Managing OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange environments.
• Experience managing devices with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for Windows OS and
Apple iOS
• Assist in the migration of existing on-premises virtual machines and services to Microsoft Azure
and other SaaS providers (ADCs, monitoring systems, backups, NPS, etc.).
• IT Monitoring and data backup
o Installations, configuration, and maintenance of IT monitoring and backup systems.
o Daily management and tracking of IT alerts and data backup.
• Manage additional third-party cloud services such as Adobe, DocuSign, Yardi, Netsuite, etc.
IT Infrastructure
• Installations, configuration, and maintenance of Windows operating systems (MS Windows 2016-
2019 in Microsoft Azure)
• Familiar with enterprise-grade switches and wireless access points (ie. Meraki)
• Assist in the creation of hardware and software standards and policies for Fengate infrastructure.
• Provide business continuity services for the organization.
o Installations, configuration, and maintenance of data backup environments (Azure,
MS365)
o Infrastructure and data restore testing.
o Key contributor to Fengate business continuity/disaster recovery plan.
• Responsible to assist the Systems Administrator and Helpdesk Analyst in the resolution of
escalated end-user support issues
Vulnerability Management
• Proficient in cyber and data security best practices, with a keen interest in keeping up to date
with best-in-class industry standards.
• Integrate third-party solutions into Feng ate's existing and new environments (SSO, log
management, vulnerability management).
• Previous experience with patch management systems for Windows operating systems such as
WSUS, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Windows Update, and/or popular third-party
applications (Chrome, Adobe, etc.).
• Previous experience with malware and anti-virus management systems (Crowd Strike, Windows
Defender security center).
• Security threat investigation and response (phishing, ransomware, security alerts, email
protection).
Key Qualifications:
Must have Qualifications and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Technology-related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Microsoft Operating Systems and services
(Windows Server 2016-2019), Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, GPO, etc.), Azure Active Directory
(Enterprise Applications, Conditional Access) and Intune (Device and Application Management).
• Microsoft 365 Administration (Portal for management, Teams, Exchange, etc.).
• Microsoft 365 Sharepoint and Power Automate experience
• Experience with Windows patch management and anti-virus technologies (preferably
CrowdStrike, WSUS, Intune)
• PowerShell scripting experience for Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Azure Services,
Exchange Management and Microsoft 365)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure, Microsoft Azure services, and MS 365.
• 5+ years’ experience in a senior systems administration role.
• 10+ years of experience in systems administration with the technology above (excluding Azure
and Office 365).
• Azure Administrator Associate Certification
Nice to Have Qualifications & Experience.
• Being Familiar with Microsoft Power BI and Power Apps is a benefit
• Microsoft 365 Defender (Policy management, threat detection, and vulnerability management)
• Familiar with SANs
• CCNA, Cisco Meraki Experience
• PMP Certification or Project Experience
