The Social Media Account Lead and Strategist is a multi-talented superstar with both incredible organization and creative skills, and strong attention to detail. A motivated self-starter, this individual is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is able to quickly adapt and pivot as needed.
Supported by a team of peers, this individual will be the ideas and project management engine behind the development of client content that is thumb-stopping, engaging, on-trend, and brand-aligned. A key aspect of your role will include overseeing a number of client accounts that may include CPG, food and beverages, hotels, museums, and hospitality, as well as finance, banking & tech. Your role will involve managing key client relationships, project management, and directing social media content shoots with the support of our creative team.
Collaboration is the essence of this position, as the account manager you will be working closely with copywriters, graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to create content that delivers value.
Like all members of their team, the successful candidate is a social media savvy expert in their own right, is a resourceful and innovative problem-solver, and can create social media content on their own or as part of a collaborative team environment.
What you would be responsible for:
- Exceptional project management skills are required when dealing with multiple clients. Knowing how to prioritize and respond to clients/issues as they arise is key to this role.
- Managing ~2-3 accounts; this includes developing relationships with clients, leading client meetings, following up on action items, owning the development of content plans, etc.
- Passion for planning, including being able to plan using calendars, schedules, mood boards, vision boards, etc.
- Providing clear direction to other members of the team regarding graphic design, copywriting, video editing, etc. to assist with content creation
- Developing social media marketing strategies that align with the client’s goals and vision, while providing your expertise in the field
- Developing creative briefs, shot lists, and story-boards for production needs (graphic design, photoshoots, and video shoots)
- Preparing content plans for social media post development working with the creative team and copywriters that are both aesthetically and visually pleasing, and aligned to the calendar and strategy
- Leading and participating in brainstorming sessions for ongoing social media content planning
- Analyze KPIs and provide monthly reports and insights to clients
- Pitching ideas for client content including relevant trends, contests, campaigns, promotions, influencer campaigns, ads, and everyday content
- Review content before it is published to ensure it aligns with the vision/strategy and checks off all of the clients' boxes
Nice-to-haves:
- Tech-savvy and not afraid of trying new apps and figuring out new software
- Know your way around a camera, iPhone or DSLR, Canva, and a myriad of photo and video editing apps (including TikTok and Reels) to create content solo and on-the-fly
- Basic Graphic Design skills to make on-the-fly/ad hoc requests
- Sometimes Pinch’s staff will model in photoshoots for our clients - let us know if this is something you’re comfortable with

- The candidate must have good taste - a strong sense of on-trend aesthetics, and the ability to identify images, videos, complementary music, and designs with good composition
- Must have a strong sense of initiative, not be afraid to “run with it”

- We are offering annual compensation of $60-65 negotiable plus the opportunity for year-end incentives based on company and individual performance. Benefits will be available after the completion of your first 2 weeks.

- Do you like attending and posting about cool events? Some of our clients host events that may require on-site social media coverage and support, (e.g. live tweet, IG Live, stories, etc.)
- Quick learner - you may not have all the skills listed but are you willing to learn them?
- You will be well-resourced. We have a great creative team and a team of Social Media coordinators who will support the end-to-end management of your client’s social media accounts.
