Service Supervisor Jobs

The Opportunity
Accountable/responsible for ensuring all service calls in shop and field are addressed in a timely and effective manner; supervise available technicians and resources to maximize productivity and proficiency to meet targets in mechanical repair shop.
The Role

• Provide coaching and training for all service technicians
• Responsible for day-to-day support of the business of Parts & Service sales to customers
• Supervise and leads service technicians to ensure repair profit margin performance and customer service are met
• Executes initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence and maximizes efficiencies including service, warranty programs and parts operations at the branch
• Work with customers, suppliers and co-workers to fulfill service orders and inquiries within service and cost expectations
• Responsible to coordinate and perform field services

The Candidate

• Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Work Experience: 2-4 years of relevant work experience. Previous experience in On Highway Trucks, Heavy Equipment, Mining equipment and hydraulics service industry considered an asset. Qualified technician or Journeyman is an asset.
• Knowledge: Experience working on component repairs, trouble shooting, field services and generating quote labor hours
• Education: College diploma / Post secondary education. Skilled trade certification considered on asset
