Position:
With offices in Stoney Creek (Ontario), Boisbriand and Saguenay (Quebec), we are currently looking for a Service Technician attached to our Stoney Creek team serving a varied clientele throughout Ontario.
Under the responsibility of the Service Manager, the service technician performs the maintenance work necessary for the proper functioning of lifting devices at our customers throughout Ontario. In your activities, you will have to interact with skilled tradespeople, operators, supervisors, equipment suppliers and customers.
Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance of equipment
• Any other tasks requested by the supervisor
• Modify the equipment according to the work requirements
• Inspections of crane overhead lifting equipment according to current standards
• Analyze breakages and recommend corrective actions
• Diagnose faults, identify causes and make necessary repairs for problems of any complexity

Requirements:
Qualifications

• Be comfortable with working at heights
• C of Q Industrial Millwright and/or Electrician 442A an (asset)
• Hardworking, available and willing to travel anywhere in Ontario
• Valid driver's license
• Have a safety conscious mindset
• Electrical and/or mechanical experience
• Have a lot of initiative, be creative and be punctual
• Experience reading Blueprints
• Good sense of observation and customer relations
• Ability to manage pressure, prioritization and day-to-day challenges
• Experience in overhead lifting equipment (an asset)
• Experience in electromechanical troubleshooting (an asset)
• Ability to work standing or in awkward positions for long periods of time

The position is on a basic schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The candidate, according to his experience, must be available for a rotating shift of one week every 4 weeks 24-7 ON CALL and may be called upon to work from time to time in the evenings and weekends (paid overtime) according to the needs of our clients.
