Food Service Supervisor Jobs

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor for our fast food restaurant. Responsible for managing daily operations, leading a team, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining food quality and safety, and optimizing efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock to meet customer demand
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
• Schedule and assign tasks to staff, considering business needs and employee availability
• Collaborate with the management team to develop menus, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the food service staff, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
• Train and mentor employees, providing guidance on customer service, food preparation, and safety procedures
• Monitor and maintain high-quality standards in food preparation, presentation, and service
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner

Requirements

• Proficiency in English at Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Level 5 or equivalent, enabling effective communication with customers and staff
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle various operational challenges
• In-depth knowledge of food service operations, including food preparation, safety procedures, and customer service
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team
• Previous experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods
• Fast food experience
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling protocols
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
