Service Desk Technician Jobs

Position Summary:

We are seeking a customer-oriented IT Technician to join our team full-time. The IT Technician performs end-user support by solving incidents or answering requests through the Service Desk, by phone, by e-mail as well as in person. The scope of this role includes desktops, laptops, fixed phones, cell phones, printers.

Key Job Functions:

• Troubleshooting Computer and Network Issues
• Perform and support software installations
• Provide 2nd level end-user onsite support
• Imaging and deploying new computers
• Cell phone and landline configuration
• Receiving, Updating, Closing Service desk tickets

Key Skill Requirements:

All applicants must be able to meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.

• Familiar with a Ticketing System to open and close requests
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a customer-facing IT Helpdesk position
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Windows 10, Office 2016, Active Directory 2012/2016
• Bilingualism is required: English and French

Education:

• Bachelor's degree not required, but more focused on hands-on experience with Networking, Troubleshooting, ticketing system.
