About This Team
You will be a part of the Global Guest Innovation team. The team is responsible for identifying new ways to engage with our guests, globally and across channels. This includes creating new product experiences, developing new store formats, retail concepts and standing up new business models. The team is responsible for everything from market research, strategy, business modelling, operationalization, implementation and evaluation. a day in the life: what you’ll do
Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Guest Innovation, the Senior Strategy Manager operates within the global guest experience strategy to research and identify guest experience opportunities to test and recommend opportunities that result in learnings that can be leveraged across the organization.
The role requires knowledge across multiple disciplines (retail, strategy, digital and innovation), and is required to communicate high impact business ideas to influence senior leadership with their recommendations.
  • Explore and recommend opportunity areas by analyzing impact to guest experience, business, ROI potential, and effort to implement
  • Understand global, regional, channel and functional strategies and ensure alignment with guest experience innovation roadmap and strategy
  • Coordinate quarterly meetings and newsletters with international teams to maximize knowledge transfer across regions and understand regional priorities
  • Inspire, engage and get the buy-in from cross-functional leaders and working teams to deliver on the retail innovation strategy
  • Responsible for Retail Innovation 5-year strategy and ensure it is up to date and aligned with other departments and business priorities
  • Build a pipeline of guest experience innovation ideas and make sure we have a healthy pipeline in the Next and Future lanes
  • Lead different projects. This can be everything from quick turnaround of small projects or larger multi-year projects. For projects that moves to test phase, responsible for creating implementation plans and accountable for budgets
  • Strategic support to Global Guest Innovation program owners, Strategy Managers and other teams as needed
  • Coordinate Global Guest Innovation department's strategic initiatives in Strat planning & AOP processes
  • Synthetize foresight trends, market activity, guest data and research and share insights and potential implications across Global Guest Innovation and regional teams
Qualifications
  • Experience from retail, consumer goods and/or relevant B2C industries
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Strategy, innovation or transformational roles
  • International experience is welcomed
