Job Description

Are you excited about data and analytics?
As a data analyst on the supply chain and logistics team, you’ll work closely with a group of analytics professionals and both technology and business stakeholders at Best Buy, focusing on last-mile delivery experience. This role starts as a 14 month fixed term contract.
We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative and social purposes.
Join our innovative supply chain and logistics analytics team:
What you’ll do:
  • Support data science and automation efforts to simplify data & analytics product and services
  • Develop and maintain critical data flows, ETLs, and other analytic products, consolidating data from various data sources
  • Enable users to self-monitor operational performance
  • Provide analytics thought leadership in a high-profile project that make a significant business impact
  • Optimize supply chain efficiency by identifying operational improvement opportunities (valuation, opportunity analysis, simulation, scenario planning, process and quality improvement)
  • Build accurate forecasts to optimize inventory planning and fulfillment operations

What we’re looking for:
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, PowerBI, and front-end tools like Streamlit.io
  • Fast and Independent learner, agile mindset on how to deliver value iteratively, and adapt quickly to change
  • 1-2 years of experience working in data analytics with strong stakeholder management skills, including descriptive analysis, experiment design, and dashboard development
