Role: Senior Project Coordinator
Client: Leading Energy Company
Duration: 17 months
Location: Calgary (Hybrid)
Reporting to the Manager, Construction & Inspection and Infrastructure, Coastal GasLink Project (CGL), this position allows you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills in coordinating the planning and execution of construction work on CGL project. The scope and the role are important for the implementation and close out of the CGL project.

Our client, a major North American Energy Company, is looking to add a Senior Project Coordinator to their team.
Your new role
- Identify existing tools and if required develop appropriate tools to monitor and report on the progress of planning and execution of work
- Coordinate meeting(s) internally and externally and issue appropriate meeting minutes.
- Effective and result oriented coordination: Between and with different internal and external stakeholders, Of Planning of work, Of Execution of work
- Understand the requirements and expectations from and of the stakeholders
- Keep the team, and other relevant members of the CGL team updated on status services, progress, issues, risks and mitigation plans etc. by developing reports & presentations.
- Engage, as required with the stakeholders and coordinate for the deliverables.
- Coordinate the forecasting of spend, reasons for the forecasted spend, variances and recommend adjustments to budget
- Identify all the procedures and processes required to ensure effective execution of work.
- Coordinate with applicable contractor(s) and CGL stakeholders on performance, invoice management and change management.
- Identify the various stakeholders relevant to the scope of work.
- Understand the requirements, expectations and success parameters of the role.
What you need to succeed
- Experience in coordination with internal and external stakeholders on multiple construction projects of over $300-$500 million is must. Ideally the experience should relate to development of access roads and carrying out reinstatement on a pipeline project in remote location(s).
- Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and or Business Management is must.
- Certification in Project Management is desirable.
- A valid drivers licence and the ability to travel occasionally.
