The Role
The Bell Mobility – Supply Chain Team is seeking a motivated individual, with proven SQL/SAS, Python, Reporting and Analytical skills. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, this individual is to lead a team to support the business unit by providing timely and insightful forecasting and detailed analysis of all inventory within Bell’s distribution network (DC and Channels). In addition, this team will create and publish all reporting for the Supply Chain team.
To succeed in this role, you will need to lead a team to keep our supply chain ahead of the curve by developing keen and sound analysis for demand planning and the simplification/automation of our daily reporting needs for the Supply Chain team.
Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with inventory planners to incorporate supply chain inputs
• Engage with store planners on sales forecast for specific regions and incremental sales during specific periods
• Create and publish reporting for the various parts of Supply Chain to enable proper monitoring and identification of opportunities to facilitate changes in processes and drive improvements in overall performance.
• Engage with suppliers like Apple / Samsung / Google on new launches, promotional tactics, etc. for consideration in forecasting process
• Analyze sales variance vs forecast and identify causal effects
• Engage with pricing teams to understand changes in hardware pricing that will impact sales
• Track sales and traffic history by Channel, price point, device and use this information to forecast sales for the 4-6 months

Required Skills / Competencies

• Knowledge of Microstrategy, Tableau (data visualization tools) are desirable
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, SAS, Python, SAP and Microsoft Office Tools
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills
• 3 to 5 years experience in data analytics and/or Telecom/Technology products industry
• Availability to work some evenings and weekends as required during key sales periods
• Bachelor Degree (Computer Science, Business Systems, Business Administration) or equivalence
