Job Description
Our client in Mississauga is looking for a Senior IT Support Analyst
Role
Senior IT Support Analyst will be responsible for providing resources, and technical expertise, to all users. This includes troubleshooting technical problems, providing IT support on the day-to-day operations, and configuring software and hardware for the organization.
Work Type
  • 5 days in the office
  • Location: Mississauga
Qualifications
  • Experience in Azure technical support.
  • Strong time management skills including a strong ability to prioritize workload and a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment supporting end users
  • Experience in setting up and working with Windows server policies and scripts.
  • 3 years in user technical support, with excellent communication skills
  • 1 year of Office 365 online system administration experience.
  • Experience in Truckmate is desired but not required.
Responsibilities
Senior IT Technical Support
  • Manage Microsoft Azure setups
  • Develop and document network administration, system maintenance, and backup/disaster recovery.
  • Design, deploy, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure and applications.
  • Configure, test, and evaluate new/existing hardware and software issues
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware-related problems and provide end-user technical support
System Administration
  • Configure and administer MS SQL, Azure virtual environment.
  • Support network services by troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Manage Office 365 online features (Access control, user lists, Exchange, and SharePoint online admin).
  • Track, escalate, and resolves system issues with service providers.
  • Keep up to date on general technical skills and knowledge of MS Office 365 and Azure new releases, and new patches/fixes.
  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange
  • Knowledge of Hyper-V systems
  • Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, network drives
  • Basic Networking experience and understanding of underlying principles such as TCP/IP, Subnetting
Security Administration
  • Monitors organization security status and posture on both end-user and business systems
  • Ensure compliance with all existing IT and information security policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Work with the IT Administrator to respond in a timely manner to all security instances and threats.
  • IT security concepts and a basic understanding of Firewall and Endpoint Security
