Our client is a recognized Manufacturer of HVAC and fluid technology systems are actively seeking Human Resources Business Partner to join their team. This individual will provide HR Management support to Canadian employees and provide HRIS project management.
Responsibilities:
- Perform HR functions including payroll processing, benefit administration, timekeeping, attendance tracking, employee relations, training administration, and compliance management
- Assist with employee relations including employee counseling when necessary
- Become involved on HRIS upgrade and migration projects
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding of new employees
- Assist with onboarding of new employees and employees who are transferring from another company or organization
- Able to handle full cycle HR Duties
- Other duties as assigned by the CEO or COO
- Assist with benefit administration including 401K and other benefits administration
- Assist with development of the company’s other divisions including developing employee handbooks, developing performance management policies and procedures, and developing compensation plans for other employees
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Thorough knowledge of labor legislation
- Excellent people management skills
- 5+ years’ experience in human resources preferred
- Analytical and goal oriented
- Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
