Responsibilities


WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Oversee new employee orientation and training including onboarding, sexual harassment prevention
  • Guide career exploration with managers and employees
  • Manage benefits administration and reporting; communicate benefits information to employees
  • Work closely with and provide human resources expertise to front-line supervisory staff and individual employees.
  • Support recruitment and talent acquisition,
  • Create and maintain reports, records, and systems;
  • Deliver advice, support, and assistance in the full scope of human resources services, including, but not limited to the following:


Qualifications


WHAT YOU'LL NEED


  • Ability to exercise tact, discretion, and judgment required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • System savvy - able to quickly learn our HR systems
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels
  • Three to five years of HR experience, or seven years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience
  • Good working knowledge of relevant employment legislation.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze numerical data, draw logical inferences, and provide reasonable recommendations.
  • Experience in a unionized environment
  • A solid understanding of employee investigations to resolve issues
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point).


EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE


  • Experience with HRIS, iCIMS, and Payroll systems; Kronos is a plus
