Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role within a dynamic accounting team focused on an efficient and effective Accounting function which uses common information sources and practices, reduces ongoing costs, increases service level performance and minimizes risk. The incumbent will analyze the output of how others have recorded data and investigates anomalies and discrepancies in order to ensure accurate corporate reporting and adherence to accounting standards.

Ensure the financial results are in compliance with IFRS and provide accurate and timely reports and analysis to Management on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the monthly financial reporting and review process.
Analyze significant variances, key metrics and business trends. Presents findings to managers and senior management.
Identify and execute complex process improvements, including demonstrated experience developing or auditing complex accounting models or valuations
Build and deliver content for presentations that clearly articulate the subject and tell the story, including presenting to the senior leadership team
Execute and maintain documentation of controls
Provide guidance and coaching to other team members
What You Bring
University degree in Accounting or Finance areas, CPA designation required
Minimum 3 years experience in a medium/large company at a Senior Analyst/Accountant level with strong IFRS knowledge and proven ability to successfully lead other team members
Solid financial and technical skills coupled with strong analytical ability with a natural curiosity to understand the reason behind transactions
Strong problem solving, analytical and strategic thinking skills; able to see the “big picture” in a complex business environment
