The Opportunity

Thinkingbox is on the lookout for a creative, talented and experienced Senior Digital Designer to join our award-winning team in Toronto! We're looking for an individual who is passionate about creating game-changing and innovative work, comfortable with working on anything from high profile, multimedia experiential activations, to microsites and larger platform dot coms!

Your voice and vision will play a pivotal part of the creative process as you work alongside the team to bring our client's stories, voice and vision, to life! You'll turn creative connections into living breathing projects, oversee and assist with project designs from start-to-finish, all whilst working closely with the larger team! This role will require hands-on work with concept, design and asset creation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist in developing interactive design elements and solutions
• Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to supervisors and producers
• Lead creating design documentation (such as style guides)
• Estimating the time required to complete tasks
• Work with the team to define the look and feel for a variety of projects
• Contribute ideas and on-trend, design pixel perfect artwork and assets from mood boards through to final delivery
• Develop solutions that respond to client parameters and project briefs
• Collaborate with our team to transform wireframes into high fidelity designs
• Collaborate and brainstorm with producers, and creative and development team

What You'll Bring

• Proficiency in Creative Suite
• Diploma or degree in Design is considered an asset but not a necessity
• Must have a keen eye for detail
• Understanding of typography and design
• Strong conceptual thinking
• Knowledge of Digital Design
• Interest in emerging technologies and design trends
• Knowledge of UI/UX and UX processes
• Ability to execute visually appealing hifi mockups
• A minimum of 4-5+ years of similar experience within an agency, studio or in-house setting
• Ability to collaborate with a team and also work autonomously
• Strong understanding of production process
• Ability to take art direction and critique
