Job Description

Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled UX Designer - Intermediate for one of our clients.


Position: UX Designer - Intermediate

Location: Toronto, Ontario (On-Site with Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Must haves:

  • Figma, adobe, photoshop
  • IT background would be a plus
  • Visual design

Responsibilitiesin:

1.Researchandanalysis.

  • Experiencegatheringuserfeedbacktoconfigureexistinginterfaces.
  • Transferringresearchfindingsintoactionabledesignrecommendations.
  • GeneralSkillsandExperience:
  • Experienceindesigningonlineprograms/applicationswithmultiplelevelsofuserroles,largeamountofusers,and/oranyotherenterpriselevelapplications.
  • Experiencedesigninganddeliveringwireframes,userstories,userflows,userjourneys,mockups,andlowandhighfidelityprototypesoptimizedforawiderangeofdevicesandinterfaces.
  • Conceiveandconductuserresearch,interviewsandsurveys,andtranslatingthemintositemaps,userflows,customerjourneymaps,wireframes,mockupsandprototypes.
  • Experiencemakingstrategicdesignanduser-experiencedecisionsrelatedtocore,andnew,functionsandfeatures.
  • Experienceconceivingandconductinguserresearch,interviewsandsurveys,andtranslatingthemintositemaps,userflows,userjourneymaps,wireframes,mockups,andlowandhighfidelityprototypesthatleadtointuitiveuserexperiences.
  • Experiencedesigningtheoverallfunctionalityoftheproduct,andinordertoensureagreatuserexperience,iterateuponitinaccordancewithuser-testing.Experienceidentifyingdesignproblemsanddevisingelegantsolutions.
  • Createeffective,userfriendlyandvisuallyappealinginterfacesaccordingtocurrentUXstandardsandtrends.
  • Designtheoverallfunctionalityoftheproductinordertoensureagreatuserexperience,iterateuponitinaccordancewithuser-testing.
  • Thoroughunderstandingofthelimitationsandappropriateuseofwebdevelopmenttechnologies.
  • Proficiencywithdesignandprototypingtools.
  • Takeauser-centereddesignapproachandrapidlytestanditeratethedesigns.
  • Experienceindesigningonlineprograms/applicationswithemphasisintheemotionalaspectsofhumanexperience.
  • Experiencefacilitatingtheclient’sproductvisionbyresearching,conceiving,sketching,prototypinganduser-testingexperiencesfordigitalproductsandoptimizedforawiderangeofdevicesandinterfaces.
  • RelevantexperiencecreatingGUIdesignsbasedonuserinteractionandperformance.
  • Ateamplayerwithatrackrecordformeetingdeadlines,managingcompetingprioritiesandclientrelationshipmanagementexperience.ExperienceasaUXdesigner,interactivedesigner,UIdesigner,orsimilarrole,designingforwebandmobileapplications.
  • Experiencecreatingvisuallyappealingvectorassets(e.g.flatvectorproductimages,icons,etc).
