Job Description

Business Analyst (UI/UX)

Location: GTA – Hybrid (Downtown Toronto) – 3 days per week - Mandatory

Term: March 31, 2024 + Extension

Workday: 7.25 Work Hours per Day


Overall requirements to be qualified include:

  • Experience facilitating sessions with a diverse audience for requirements discovery and analysis using a variety of methodologies (e.g. Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid). (
  • Knowledge of enterprise architectural concepts and processes, specifically in the area of business architecture for data warehouses, marts, lakes (in Azure platform).
  • Experience in writing user stories in Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of front end, web-based technologies and data-mining/reporting-based COTS tools encompassing feasibility studies, requirements definition, analysis, prototyping, system design, implementation, testing and maintenance.
  • Led/managed business transformation/solution design initiatives, with a focus on business architecture and user interation/experience design (UI/UX)
  • Experience in conceptual design of enterprise data warehouses and extensive experience in data management supporting development teams - working on requirements gathering and design documentation.
  • Experienced in requirement elicitation, documentation, gap analysis, evaluation of alternative solutions, user interation/experience design (UI/UX) and making recommendations.
  • Work with stakeholders (internal and external) across the program to develop clearly defined epics and user stories.
