The Senior Consultant, Information Risk Reporting Automaton, will assist the Senior Manager, Information Risk Reporting Automation in delivering a comprehensive Information Risk Management (IRM) reporting automation strategy and roadmap for monitoring and reporting on the company’s Information Risk and technology profile.
This Senior Consultant role will focus on the IRM risk reporting automation and will assist in the identification, design and integration of automation solutions, reduction of manual processes and partner with teams across Technology, 1st/ 2nd line of defense risk teams on implementation of solutions.
The Senior Consultant, Information Risk Reporting Automaton Is a Contributing Member Of The Global Information Risk Management (IRM) 2nd Line Of Defense Team And Will

• Refine key risk indicators (KRIs) including requirements gathering, data mapping, and logic definition
• Oversee the production and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc senior management reports and presentations
• Maintain and foster enduring relationships with internal stakeholders and peers. Collaborate with technology on identifying and implementing solutions for automation by working closely with technology, risk and operations stakeholders
• Direct information risk reporting projects by obtaining key stakeholder buy-in, develop requirements, testing, deliver on change management, and monitor service delivery standards
• Independently undertake projects of a complex nature and ad-hoc requests as required
• Proactively communicate reporting modifications and process changes to contributors based on senior management requests and personal observations
• Contribute in the design and build of the information risk reporting data analytics and automation roadmap
• Assist to deliver on the automation strategy to drive effectiveness and efficiency
• Identify opportunities to support key information risk reporting initiatives through robust data and dashboards utilizing advance analytics to drive decision-making. Maximize the usage of robotics (RPA) and machine learning where possible

Job Requirements (Experience/Knowledge/Skills)

• Outstanding communication and influencing skills to drive strategy and transformation activities
• Hands on experience with reporting and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik View and/or other related tools.
• Experience in Process improvement and design.
• Demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication and the ability to present to any level of management
• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, report automation, information and technology risk, preferably in the financial services industry
• Expertise in developing and automating dashboards and key-metrics
• University Degree (Technology, Business, Risk Management, Auditing or related discipline)
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain highly technical information for non-technologists including executives.
• Strong competencies in collaboration, problem solving and influencing key risk decisions
• Exceptional relationship management skills; must be able to address and resolve issues
• Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment

Salary & Benefits
The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
Toronto, Ontario
Salary range is expected to be between
$72,450.00 CAD - $134,550.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
