Security Analyst Jobs

Our client in the Security sector is looking for a Security Anlayst to join their team on a 6 month contract, with a high possibility of extension. The role is 100% remote, however you will be required to work 8 am-5:30 pm central time.

Responsibilities:

• Generate forensic and incident reports
• Develop security policies, standards, guidelines or procedures
• Perform technical forensic investigations
• Conduct security risk assessments
• Develop and maintain technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities
• Support the activities that provide security monitoring and incident response services
• Perform technical security assessments and design reviews
• Support the activities that provide security monitoring and incident response services

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 7 years direct support in Cyber Security
• MUST have your CISSP, CISA, CISM or SANS GIAC
• Minimum 3 years information infrastructure experience
• Completion of a recognized degree or diploma program in a related IT discipline or equivalent combination of experience, education and certification
• Knowledge and direct experience with several technology areas such as networking, VPSs, firewalls, SIEM, cloud platforms/cloud security, vulnerability management, virtualization, Microsoft technologies, endpoint security, scripting languages is required

• Must have own Windows based computer with standard Windows 10 applications
• Must possess a communication device
