Responsibilities
This role provides excellent exposure to the recruiting industry. For an individual that demonstrates initiative, team, a solid understanding of our business, and other competencies required to succeed in our organization, career progression to a recruiting position is supported.
The successful candidate will contribute their strong organizational skills to enable our team to deliver an outstanding experience to our clients and candidates. This individual will apply their exceptional writing and editing skills towards creating client deliverables that may be required throughout the life cycle of an executive search engagement. They will interact with other staff, clients, prospective clients, and candidates in a variety of situations, always while managing competing deadlines. Responsibilities will include:
  • Work collaboratively with the delivery team in performing background research for business development and aiding with preparation of client proposals, under the guidance of one of our senior practitioners
  • Scheduling appointments and managing other administrative tasks as required
  • Editing, proofing, and formatting a variety of written correspondence for grammar, style, and clarity
  • Assist the search team in developing sourcing strategies including target companies and candidates
  • Managing the logistics for client and internal meetings
  • When required, prepare invoices for the search line of business
  • Creating documents that are “client ready” such as proposals, fee agreements, progress reports and correspondence

FIRST YEAR DELIVERABLES / MEASURES OF SUCCESS
Success in the first year will be determined by the candidate’s ability to:
  • Ability to demonstrate a self-starter attitude through learning to anticipate team needs
  • Thoughtfully integrate into the organizations culture through learning how to support the team and by showing initiative in delivering exceptional results
  • Learn the ins and outs of the organization, service offerings and standard practices and procedures for successfully delivering solutions to clients
  • Understand and fully utilize the organizations CRM (Invenias)
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following:
Education
  • University or college diploma/ degree / certificate preferred in Human Resources, Business or Communications
Experience
  • Strong technology literacy and skills
  • Excellent creative writing skills required
  • Previous experience in high level administration and/or customer service preferred
  • Willingness to learn, experiment and problem solve
Competencies and Attributes
  • Technical skills include knowledge of Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • A high regard and respect for confidentiality
  • Professional and detail oriented, highly organized with strong administrative skills and attention to detail
