Job Description

Position Summary
The Sales Support Coordinator (SSC) will work directly with the field selling organization as an extension of the selling team. The SSC will be responsible for key internal-facing activities to help improve sales force effectiveness and maximize the selling team’s performance. In this position, the SSC will also engage in customer-facing activities, which focus on expanding customer reach, driving sales engagement, creating leads, and enhancing customer experience.
Essential Duties:
  • Maintain housekeeping; comply with safety rules and environmental regulations
  • Manage and provide CRM (SFDC) quoting and pricing in the marketplace
  • Supply any presentation or product information that may be needed
  • Be aware of the departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
  • Fill the teams’ lead pipeline through inside sales activities as directed by Team and Sales Management
  • Support Sales Team with internal processes and forms (DTBS, Custom, S&H, Advance, etc.)
  • Assist in sales opportunity management, working with Customer Excellence to accurately and efficiently identify customer orders and the opportunity and quote within CRM
  • For the Account Executives (AE) and Regional Sales Directors (RSD) in Central Canada region on a designated team(s), serve as the primary contact for key sales support activities, including:
  • Perform Other duties as assigned by management
  • Coordinate complex customer fulfillment projects
  • Participate and support company initiatives
Qualifications:
Educational requirements:
  • HS/GED is required
  • A College Degree is preferred
  • Highly preferred Bilingualism (French / English) with proficiency in both verbal and written communication
Skills and Experience:
  • JD Edwards
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Proven experience in Sales or administrative positions supporting the Sales team
  • Demonstrate the capability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks/priorities
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn:
  • Ability to effectively interact, engage and communicate with internal and external customers
  • Excellent systems skills including Excel & PowerPoint are required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Various Syndicated Lead Platforms
  • SalesForce (SFDC) CRM system
  • Able to work in a team-based environment
  • Ability to create a positive customer experience; optimistic can-do perspective
Physical Demands:
  • Use of office equipment, communication tools, including computers, telephone systems, and related tools.
  • Occasional moderate lifting of administrative materials.
Work Environment:
  • Job Type: Full-time (on site)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with possible scheduling of shifts to 6:00 pm on a rotating basis. Flexible working hours may be considered. Occasional travel.
