RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC

The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position Summary

The Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA) is a national study of adult development and aging that has recruited 50,000 individuals across Canada and has been collecting information since 2011. www.clsa-elcv.ca

We are currently seeking interviewers to conduct interviews with CLSA participants between the ages of 55 and 95 at their homes.

General Duties

• Scheduling interviews with participants,
• Interviews take place in participants' homes (Island of Montreal, Laval, South Shore + a small part of the North Shore).
• Travelling to participants' homes to conduct interviews using computer-assisted interviews,

Education / Experience

• Fluent in English and French (ESSENTIAL),
• Professionalism and respect for confidentiality,
• Ability to work within a team.
• A car (ESSENTIAL),
• Interviewers must be punctual, rigorous, empathetic and have experience working with the public,
• Having a cell phone (ESSENTIAL),
• A CEGEP diploma (DEC)

Additional Information

Status: Part time, flexible hours (12 hours per week minimum, however it is possible that the required hours go above the 12 hours per week.)

Pay Scale: Payment per completed interview (including travel time)

Work Shift: Days, evenings and weekends, as needed

Work Site: 2155 Guy Street, Montreal
