The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Position Summary

Supervised by the director of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) research Dr. Lily Hechtman, the junior assistant will complete research and clinical responsibilities in a number of ongoing ADHD studies involving children and adolescents.

General Duties

• Serve as a coach for adolescents with ADHD which includes conducting weekly phone calls with the adolescents to provide support based on group intervention.
• Conduct diagnostic interviews and facilitate group interventions,
• Work on a research project looking at treatment of children and adolescents with ADHD,
• Conduct telephone screenings and patient follow-up,
• Administer and score questionnaires, data summary and data entry,

Education / Experience

• Strong background and experience in psychology preferred,
• Good interpersonal skills and knowledge of research methodology,
• Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills,
• Clinical and research experience involving children or adolescents,
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and French necessary.
• Must be able to work autonomously and cooperatively in a team,
• BA/B.Sc. (completed) required,

Additional Information

Status: Temporary, full-time, 35-hours/week

Pay Scale: $33,287.80 - $49,922.60, based on education and experience

Work Shift: Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm
