RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC

The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position Summary

The incumbent will work directly with a pediatric neurologist and a pediatric neurosurgeon on a number of projects related to developmental brain malformations, brain tumors, and epilepsy.

General Duties

Responsibilities Will Include

• Preparing presentations and drafting manuscripts,
• Clinical data collection, analysis and interpretation,
• Preparing and maintaining a database,
• Preparing submissions to Research Ethics Board,
• Drafting research protocols,
• Helping with grant submissions.
• Recruiting patients,

Education / Experience

Education: Master's Degree

Field of Study: in a health field

Work Experience: The successful candidate should demonstrate experience in clinical research. Preference will be given to individuals with a master's degree in a health-related field.

• Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,

Additional Information

Status: Temporary Full-Time (35-hour workweek)

Pay Scale: $47,320.00 - $87,887.80 per year, commensurate with education & work experience

Work Shift: Daytime, Mondays to Fridays
