General Description:

• Responsible to preform internal audits (LPA) and validate the training level for operators
• Maintaining records of internal and 3rd party inspection results together with traceability of respective lots of products
• Responsible for Quality Inspections for products and processes
• Coordinate segregation, labeling and release operations of welded parts waiting for Test Results
• Responsible to authorize the release of the product after successful inspection
• Data entry activities
• Maintain records of inspection

Skill/Effort Requirements:

• Ability to meet deadlines as required
• Computer literacy – proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel
• Ability to read/understand instructions
• Quality Assurance approach – certified or experienced
• Experience in data Entry and activities that requires attention to detail
• Self motivated and able to work with little or no supervision
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and with frequent interruptions
• Able to be an effective communicator during the audits or training sessions
• Good organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Maintain records of 3rd party inspection for respective lots of parts welded
• Review Inspection Process on the production line and provide QA support when required
• Control the sample collection process to ensure that proper destructive samples have been collected and identified for test as per Welding traceability process
• Perform plan audits (LPS) as per Audit Plan , report the findings and follow up for closure
• Other duties as assigned by manager
• Authorize the official release of parts from hold after reviewing the test results as per ITP
• During daily rounds in the cells, review Gauge Calibration, Part Identification and Product Inspection
• Filing and maintain Data records as instructed by by Quality Manager
• Participate in MRB process and ensure proper identification of noncorming material
• Maintain records of acceptance and certificate of inspection as per Customer Requirements
• Coordinate the return of the accepted lots back into WIP
• Distribute daily product related reports
• Participate in Corrective Action meetings
• Verify (where applicable) theawareness level of the operator after ECN or Quality Alert implementation
