We are looking for a full-timeQuality Assurance Managerto join our team.
Quality Assurance Managerwill support and manage our Quality Management system and will be fully responsible for the development and maintenance of ISO 9001 related documents and records. The QA Manager will manage the QC team in the Finishing department, lead continuous improvement projects, and audit production to ensure delivery on quality standards according to our ISO certification Requirements. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining a set of reporting metrics on Quality Performance and managing non-conformity in established standard procedures.
Salary range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year based on qualifications & experience.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain methods/criteria for monitoring, sampling, inspecting, testing, and analyzing raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
- Ensure alignment between all processes and guidelines are followed at all times as per our Quality Management system and ISO standard requirements.
- Responsible for Planning, establishing, and managing the quality procedures as well as conducting internal ISO audits at regular intervals to ensure compliance with standard requirements.
- Report on Quality Performance KPIs and work with the team towards improvement projects.
- Continuously improve finished goods and raw material strategies to find efficiencies and reduce non-value-added activities to ensure high productivity.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Establish Quality Corrective and Preventative Action plans with relevant department supervisors and managers.
- Be a cross-functional partner and work closely with various functions: Finishing, Die-cutting, Printing, Design, Pre-press, Admin etc.
- Review and update training skills requirements for ISO 9001.
- Responsible for the development, implementation, review, maintenance, and communications of additional quality management systems/certifications that the company identifies.
- Mitigate Quality risk during production process from all departments.
- Manage and lead the QA finished goods from all departments (Supervisors and Coordinators).
- Reduce the Cost of Quality by leading Total Quality Management and Lean Six Sigma projects.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Exceptional writing ability, verbal communication and relationship-management skills required.
- Minimum of 5 years management experience in a quality or manufacturing environment
- University Degree in Quality management, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration or degree in other related discipline.
- Self-starter with the capacity to prioritize work and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience implementing Quality processes, procedures, and strategies
- Experience leading and working within the ISO 9001 quality system
