The Team

The objective of Global Human Resources Technology ‘GHRT’ Quality Assurance Testing ‘QAT’ is to ensure that HR software meets the functional requirements specified in the technical design document, to identify and fix defects as well to perform regression testing to ensure the software has not broken functionality that was not directly changed . Our primary focus is to deliver high quality services and support, with velocity and efficiency within project timelines and on budget.

The Role

Actively participates in testing, test automation development, particularly in more complex deliveries. Manages and guides test teams to ensure timely delivery of quality products/functions consistent with the business needs and priorities of Global HR. Troubleshoot when problems arise and contribute to their resolution in a hands-on manner when necessary.

Some Of The Key Accountabilities Include

• Invests in team capabilities by providing knowledge transfer to team members, planning appropriate training, and mentoring to ensure the highest standard of testing.
• Acts as the testing expert across multiple labs, by monitoring the testing activities for assigned projects and ongoing business as usual activities to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained. Forecasts workday estimates for testing activities.
• Manages the formulation of QAT strategies for projects by gaining an understanding of user requirements ensuring compatibility with existing HR systems design/architecture.
• Manages QAT test documentation (strategies, test cases, results and exit reports). Provides QAT signoff and identifies any associated risks.

What You Will Bring To Succeed

• Working knowledge of JIRA
• Bilingual in Spanish is an asset
• JAVA, Eggplant, OATS, Selenium is nice to have
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Strong communication skills in English
• 3+ years of demonstrable, practical hands-on experience as a Quality Assurance Test Manager
• A degree in Computer Science, IT Business/Management or Engineering related discipline
• Expertise in SQL, Microsoft Office
