What to expect


As a Pursuit Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving and managing strategic pursuits from initiation through to proposal submission, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customized responses to potential clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales executives, marketers, product, and subject matter experts, to craft compelling proposals that highlight our value proposition and differentiators in the digital health sector.


Responsibilities
  • Opportunity Evaluation
  • Coordinate with Internal and External Stakeholders
  • Evaluate opportunities and make recommendations regarding the go/no-go process for potential pursuits.
  • Content Creation
  • Maintain accurate pursuit status reports in the CRM system and ensure diligent follow up of pursuits by the Sales team.
  • Collaborate with Sales Executives, marketers, product, graphic design and business developers, as well as subject matter experts to ensure a cohesive pursuit strategy across segments and geographies.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the required experience, knowledge, and solutions necessary for successful pursuits in desired segments and geographies
  • Work with operational teams to enhance existing content and align pursuit responses with Verto’s commercial strategy and brand.
  • In collaboration with Sales Executives, manage strategic pursuits from start to finish, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to draft and customize proposals according to the client's needs and business context.
  • CRM Maintenance
  • Develop compelling content for proposal responses, ensuring a thorough reflection of the client's requirements and our value proposition and adeptly edit proposal sections for clarity and impact.
  • Pursuit Management for Revenue Capture


Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role


Relevant skills


  • Ability to look at the big picture and think strategically to deliver client value
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrate strong oral, written, and graphic communication abilities
  • Hubspot CRM is a bonus.
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and Google Suite
  • A self-starter and team-oriented individual who can collaborate effectively with diverse personalities and professional styles across all levels of staff.
  • Commitment and interest in continuous learning and development
  • Demonstrated knowledge of empathy in sensitive clinical environments and ability to provide exceptional client experience
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, successfully navigating projects with evolving requirements and shifting priorities
  • Show initiative when tackling new pursuits and challenges.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel and meet with clients in-person as required
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
