Job Description

Client: Oil & Energy

Role: Project Coordinator (Resource Coordinator)

Duration: 2 year contract

Rate/ Salaty: Negotaible (Depending on expereince)

Location: Calgary (Hybrid)


Your New Role:


Our client is looking for a Rsource Coordinator to join their team in Calgary on a 2 year contract.


Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively in a team environment of resource coordinator peers; effectively complete and communicate business reviews with clients and service providers.
  • Work with client groups and Supply Chain to ensure contracts are effective and issues managed in a timely manner; assist in strategy development as required.
  • Provide peer support, assist with coordination of associated activities relating to the projects supported.
  • Processing contracts and documentation via Fieldglass and ensuring compliance with the third-party inspection provider Master Service Agreement (MSA).
  • Responsible for the day-to-day oversight of resourcing contracts and ensure performance measures and expectations are met.
  • Develop and maintain relationships between 3rd party resource providers and internal stakeholders to acquire required qualified resources.
  • Provide monthly updates and action plans to effectively facilitate resource coordination in support construction/pipe maintenance projects for the department.
  • Assist project management teams with scheduling and monitoring controls as associated with construction management and inspection resources.
  • Facilitate the process of selecting inspection and/or construction management personnel; identify requirements/ skills and liaise with the project management staff to obtain the resource(s) required.
  • Collaborate with peers and members of the Construction Management Team to ensure effective utilization of construction management and inspection resources.
  • Monitor and assign required training to inspectors; contracted staff meet all the training and certifications for both jurisdictional needs and TC Energy requirements.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:


  • Demonstrated analytical, business analysis, problem solving and decision-making methodologies.
  • Demonstrated project management facilitation skills and results orientated.
  • Proven and recognized leadership skills for delegation, negotiation and influencing.
  • Prioritization skills and the ability to manage numerous and complex processes simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to effectively communicate issues to key stakeholders at all levels and manage client expectations.
  • Demonstrated strong partnership, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.


Education/Experience

  • An understanding of the business setting, and a working knowledge of planning and executing construction projects, is an asset.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years related experience, and a degree or certification in project management, project coordination or, business analysis or, technical diploma or, trade certification or TC Energy field operations experience.
  • Proven expertise in client relationship management is essential, is required.
  • Power BI knowledge, is an asset.
  • SAP/Fieldglass experience, is an asset
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Projects and MS Office Suite, is required.


NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience with construction projects relating to the oil and gas industry.
  • Field experience/exposure to operational and construction environments.
  • Experience/knowledge of related trade skills and pipeline maintenance practices.
