Production Training Coordinator Jobs

Steelcon Fabrication Inc. and Group of Companies is expanding, and we are searching for a Production Training Coordinator to join our Sin Structures Inc. team!
Production Training Coordinator will oversee training for production with focus on health and safety at our SIN Structures Divisions in St. Catharines, Ontario.

As the Production Training Coordinator, you will contribute to our team by:

• All other duties as required.
• Look for opportunities to mitigate/minimize risk and financial exposure for claims
• Provide training in forklift Lift-Truck, Overhead Crane, Shunt driving, etc.
• Oversee and enforce compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Act Regulations pertaining to organizations operations
• Ensure HSE program and subsequent policies are efficiently communicated and understood at all levels, and properly implemented, and adhered to
• Ensure preventative measures and corrective actions are established and achieved
• Implement standard work practices by collaborating with plant leaders to develop the plant’s training and assessment processes
• Identify knowledge and skill gaps, develop solutions, and conduct training programs to promote employee safety in the workplace

Essential
What you will bring to this role:

• 5+ Years of Forklift Experience
• Three to five years of relevant experience in an industrial environment ideally within the manufacturing, production and/or construction industry
• 5+ Years of Overhead Crane Experience
• 5+ Years of Shunt truck Experience

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of plant operations and Health and Safety
• Train the Trainer an asset
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
• Post-Secondary education
• Experience with development of training programs
